BACKGROUND
A touring version of the original set, the challenge was to make a structural staircase 12 metres long & 6 mtrs high, but in reasonable sized pieces for touring. It also had to change height, & anti-rake to suit different venues. The Steel the Scene team along with Capita Symonds structural engineers, worked out a viable solution, the result was impressive.
